About the role
- Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications.
- Analyse existing systems, processes, and data flows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Support feasibility studies, impact assessments, and solution evaluations.
- Work closely with software engineers, architects, and product managers to design scalable solutions.
- Create detailed technical documentation such as data models, API requirements, workflow diagrams, and system mappings.
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria and support QA teams during testing cycles.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions.
- Perform data analysis using SQL, Excel, or BI tools to support decision-making.
- Understand system integrations, APIs, and data pipelines to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production issues.
- Act as the liaison between business units and technical teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
Requirements
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, Agile BA, Scrum Master, etc.)
- Teamcenter – Product Life cycle Management (PLM) platform
- NX – CAD/CAM/CAE design and engineering suite
- Polarion – Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and requirements management tool
- Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency with requirements gathering techniques and documentation standards.
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to create process maps, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical BA in a software, data, or digital environment.
- Experience with SQL or other query languages.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with HPC (High Performance Compute) platforms.
- Exposure to data modelling, ETL processes, or BI tools
