About the role
- Serve as lead counsel in business litigation, including shareholder, partnership, commercial, and real estate disputes.
- Oversee business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, partnership and shareholder agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Develop, manage, and maintain strong client relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives.
- Supervise, mentor, and grow a team of associates, paralegals, and support professionals within the division.
- Partner with firm leadership on business development, operations, and growth strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing and intake teams to ensure exceptional client service delivery.
- Contribute to overall firm leadership and culture as a key member of the management team.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in California
- 12+ years of combined litigation and transactional experience
- Demonstrated first-chair experience in trials, arbitrations, or complex dispute resolution
- Strong background in corporate transactions, including M&A and commercial contracts
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of mentoring and developing team members
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to drive practice area growth.
