About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze end-to-end ambulatory revenue cycle performance.
- Develop dashboards and reports (Days in A/R, denial rates, clean claim rate, etc.).
- Identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Perform root cause analysis on denials and revenue leakage.
- Collaborate with operations, billing, and coding teams.
- Monitor payer performance and reimbursement trends.
- Support urgent care workflow optimization.
- Assist with automation and reporting enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with coding and payer regulations.
- Participate in audits and ad hoc reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of healthcare revenue cycle analytics experience.
- Strong understanding of the full revenue cycle.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or similar tools.
- Experience with EHR/PM systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience in urgent care or high-volume outpatient settings.
- Proficiency with Power BI.
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience using VisiQuate.
- Knowledge of urgent care billing nuances.
- Relevant certifications (HFMA, CPC, CRCR).
