About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain web applications using modern technologies.
Collaborate with design and product teams to create intuitive user interfaces.
Implement and integrate RESTful APIs.
Ensure code quality through code reviews and automated tests.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
Work within a team, actively participating in ceremonies, discussions, and supporting decision-making and conflict resolution;
Be responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and security of the delivered solution;
Engage with the areas we support by providing input and gathering requirements.
Develop software in a way that guarantees quality, security, and maintainability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient in Java 17+ using the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch) and microservices architecture with REST APIs
Knowledge of front-end development (Angular)
Proficient with version control using Git
Proficient with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
Experience with agile methodologies
Experience with cloud architecture and services (preferably AWS), including use of queues and storage
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with unit testing using JUnit and Mockito
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Experience with monitoring for microservices (Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace)
Desirable: knowledge of Python
Desirable: knowledge of Scala
Desirable: knowledge of Airflow.
