About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work in a multidisciplinary team as an Automation (QA) Engineer
Create automated tests for changes, updates, and enhancements to existing products
Responsible for ensuring security is maintained
Participate in discussions, proposals, and planning
Serve as a technical point of reference for queries
Build test environments (test harnesses)
Develop, maintain, and execute test suites such as Smoke, Sanity, and Regression
Perform various types of testing: Black Box, Integration/End-to-End, Performance, and UI testing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages and process management methodologies
Familiarity with testing methodologies and related tools
Experience with TDD/ATDD or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and test-driven programming
Ability to identify risks and defects in an application
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion for testing, development, and design
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins
Experience automating tests for Spark applications (Python or Scala) is a plus
Experience with application instrumentation and observability (Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, etc.) is a plus
Experience with test automation for messaging and event-driven systems is a plus
