About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the PMO and are responsible for the coordination and implementation, execution as well as completion of specific projects
- Ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals
- Manage multiple revenue cycle software implementations for healthcare clients ensuring important goals and project scopes are met
- Lead project planning and manage multiple, ongoing software implementations
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables and manage risk and issues using appropriate tools
- Provide direction to project team
- Monitor and report on progress of the project to all partners
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project goals
- Conduct project evaluations and assessment of results
- Provide feedback to internal team and development regarding process and product improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years' experience with project manager responsibilities, in Healthcare (revenue cycle preferred)
- Experience leading implementations in healthcare
- PMP required (or must obtain within 1 year of employment)
- Healthcare industry experience facilitating in-depth knowledge of hospital operations is beneficial
- Familiarity with Experian Health products is beneficial
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration or related field or study
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for this role
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
- 10-25% nationwide travel
