About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Experian Health's Patient Access Curator team through monitoring, evaluating and optimizing performance of the product set
  • Participate in meetings with prospects and clients to define the detailed requirements or technical requirements for EDI solutions
  • Determine solution feasibility with company partners
  • Use product knowledge, technical expertise, and business knowledge in revenue cycle management processes to provide an appropriate strategic vision for decision-making
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of past/present eligibility information in text and builds comparable data models
  • Develop search strategies for using EDI and web-based transactions
  • Host external working sessions with trading partners, vendors and clients
  • Investigate pre-existing options to satisfy business or technical requirements and makes recommendations
  • Translate user or business requests into technical form for developer or IT comprehension

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle Experience is required
  • 5+ years experience as an EDI analyst, business analyst, implementation, or client/payer-side (payer or hospital/health system) experience in healthcare revenue cycle management software and technology required
  • Knowledge of EDI protocols and standards, specifically 270/271 healthcare transactions required
  • Understanding X12 message/file formats and transactions required
