About the role
- Own and evolve parts of the cloud security landscape in AWS and GCP
- Embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
- Drive security automation across environments, reducing manual processes and operational risks
- Act as a security evangelist, influencing engineers to adopt secure-by-default practices
- Collaborate with development, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve security remediation and incident management
- Support incident response activities, post-incident improvements, and operational readiness
- Contribute to security tools, standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in cloud security, especially AWS (GCP experience is a plus or willingness to learn)
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps and integrating security into engineering workflows
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments
- Programming experience in Go and/or Python
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Ability to think holistically and collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Advanced English (you will work with global stakeholders). Availability to travel to São Carlos, SP when required.
