About the role
- Perform data analyses to support data quality assessment and improvement initiatives.
- Generate insights that contribute to decision-making and continuous process improvement.
- Identify data quality issues and support corrective actions in partnership with operations, technology, and business teams.
- Create and maintain documentation related to definitions, criteria, and data qualification processes.
- Conduct low-to-medium complexity data analyses using various sources and tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs, requirements, and challenges related to data quality.
- Participate in data quality review meetings and contribute suggestions and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in database manipulation and management.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write intermediate-level queries.
- Experience in data analysis and participation in process improvement projects.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify inconsistencies and optimization opportunities.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical, organized, and able to prioritize effectively.
- Proactive in suggesting improvements and supporting initiatives that strengthen data quality.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with Python for data analysis or automation.
- Familiarity with services such as Amazon S3, Jupyter Notebook, EMR, Athena, or other data environment tools.
