About the role

  • Define, implement and evolve Site Reliability Engineering practices, including SLI/SLO/SLA, error budgets and incident management.
  • Work on the prevention, analysis and mitigation of incidents, leading postmortems and promoting continuous learning.
  • Ensure high availability, performance and scalability of critical systems.
  • Design and maintain architectures on AWS, focusing on resilience, security and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments, using Helm to standardize deployments.
  • Create automations and reusable platforms.
  • Define and implement advanced strategies for monitoring, metrics, logs and traces using Datadog.
  • Build dashboards, actionable alerts and indicators that support technical and business decisions.
  • Actively participate in FinOps practices by analyzing cloud costs, proposing optimizations and supporting capacity-planning decisions.
  • Serve as a technical reference (tech lead) for other SREs and engineers.
  • Influence architectural standards, engineering practices and strategic platform decisions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the organization’s operational and cultural maturity.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as an SRE, DevOps or Platform Engineer in high-complexity environments.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (e.g., EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, API Gateway, MSK, OpenSearch).
  • Proven experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm and Service Mesh in production environments.
  • Practical experience with Datadog (APM, Logs, Metrics, Dashboards and Alerts).
  • Solid knowledge of FinOps, including cloud cost analysis and optimization.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automation and GitOps practices.
  • Experience with Shell scripting, Linux and Python.
  • Knowledge of APIs and integrations.
  • Strong fundamentals in networking, distributed systems and cloud security.
  • Systemic thinking and the ability to understand technical impacts on the business.
  • Technical leadership with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical, data-driven profile with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to perform well in complex, dynamic and high-responsibility environments.
  • AWS certification (Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
