About the role

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines.
  • Automate analytical routines and data ingestion and transformation processes.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and prepare data for modeling.
  • Conduct backtests and validate predictive models.
  • Collaborate with engineers and data scientists on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the team’s data architecture and analytics infrastructure.
  • Translate business problems into data-driven solutions, with a focus on agribusiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields;
  • Strong experience with Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.);
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large volumes of data;
  • Familiarity with code versioning (Git) and development best practices;
  • Experience with backtesting and model validation;
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling;
  • Communication skills to present technical results clearly and convincingly;
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
