About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and coordinate parts of the monthly and year-end close process
Maintain accounting records and documentation in line with group policies and IFRS standards
Post journal entries and accruals, ensuring reporting accuracy and timeliness
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Maintain and monitor internal financial controls, flag issues and support remediation
Support the preparation of audit requests and coordination of external audit
Assist with the preparation of annual statutory reporting
Prepare and submit VAT filings
Contribute to the continuous improvement, automation and standardisation of finance processes and reporting
Collaborate with AP and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely financial processing
Ad hoc projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Economics, Finance, Business or Accounting
3+ years of experience in an audit or accounting role
Strong understanding of IFRS and its practical application within an international group environment
Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are highly valued
Experience working with external auditors is an advantage
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and works well across different teams and geographies
Able to work accurately within established frameworks while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
Excellent written and verbal English
