About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Expel's integrations, from defining the six-month vision to driving execution with Engineering and UX
  • Establish customer relationships and use customer input, market signals, and competitive signals to build and prioritize an impact-maximizing roadmap
  • Serve as the voice of product features by articulating value to Sales, Customer Success, and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to communicate the value of integrations internally and externally
  • Plan, prioritize, communicate, own a roadmap, build relationships, and become the authority on how customers use the product
  • Keep current with the security tool landscape and translate that knowledge into a roadmap that makes customers safer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–4 years of experience in product management or a directly relevant role; security industry experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with product management and software engineering processes from requirements definition through launch
  • Familiarity with security tools including EDR, SIEM, and firewall products, and their role in a customer's security stack
  • Broad knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms and security risks in those environments
  • Experience with SIEM technologies highly desired; firsthand integration or data pipeline experience is a bonus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing crisp user stories and presenting to customers
  • Ability to build trust across Engineering, Security Operations, Sales, Customer Success, and UX
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Expel does not currently sponsor immigration visas
