About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain the books in QuickBooks — keep records accurate and up to date
- Manage and operate Relit
- Ensure all bills and payments are tracked and on schedule
- Keep the client on track with overall financial visibility
- Categorize transactions and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks
- Generate periodic financial summaries and flag items needing the client’s attention
- Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents
- Coordinate with the client’s CPA or external accountant as needed
- Surface trends, discrepancies, or process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Online preferred)
- Experience operating an ERP system; ability to onboard onto Relit quickly
- Solid grasp of US accounting basics (chart of accounts, AP/AR, reconciliations)
- Strong written English for ongoing US-based client communication
- Able to work independently and own outcomes without heavy oversight
- Available to work US hours full-time
- Prior experience supporting US-based small businesses (preferred)
- Background in healthcare practice finance (familiarity with insurance reimbursements, patient billing flows) (preferred)
- Comfort handling sensitive financial information in a HIPAA-aware environment (preferred)
