About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and analyze mechanical and industrial systems, including ventilation, thermal processes and fluid systems.
- Collaborate with electrical, civil, automation and structural engineers.
- Perform technical calculations in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and industrial ventilation.
- Prepare and contribute to the production of drawings, specifications and technical reports.
- Participate in resolving technical issues in the field or workshop.
- Manage assignments in close collaboration with internal and external clients.
- Take part in diverse industrial projects, from preliminary studies to commissioning.
- Support clients in developing innovative strategies and high‑value solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Engineering.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in an industrial environment, in engineering consulting, or through relevant internships.
- Knowledge of fundamental principles in thermodynamics, fluid flow and industrial ventilation.
- Proven ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary project teams.
- Analytical mindset, initiative and technical rigor.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a role with significant human interaction.
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (or in the process of becoming one).
