About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and analyze industrial mechanical systems, particularly in ventilation, thermal processes, and fluid systems.
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines: electrical, civil, automation, and structural.
- Perform technical calculations in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and industrial ventilation.
- Prepare and contribute to the production of drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Assist in resolving technical issues on site or in the workshop.
- Provide leadership in managing projects in collaboration with internal and external clients.
- Participate in projects in the manufacturing, aerospace, raw materials processing, and metallurgy sectors.
- Receive personalized support through a mentorship program.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Engineering.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an industrial environment, engineering consulting, or through relevant internships.
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts in thermodynamics, fluid flow, and industrial ventilation.
- Proven ability to work effectively in teams on multidisciplinary projects.
- Analytical mindset, initiative, and technical rigor.
- Strong communication skills and motivation to grow in a role with high interpersonal interaction.
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (or in the process of obtaining membership).
