About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide senior technical leadership for complex building and infrastructure projects.
Serve as a subject matter expert in building systems, energy performance, sustainability, and resilience.
Lead technical evaluations, investigations, and engineering studies for existing and new facilities.
Develop innovative solutions that improve operational performance, occupant comfort, reliability, and lifecycle value.
Advise project teams on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and evolving codes and standards.
Support strategic planning efforts related to facility investments, asset management, and long-term capital improvements.
Mentor engineers and technical staff while promoting technical excellence throughout the organization.
Review and provide quality assurance for engineering analyses, reports, and recommendations.
Support business development efforts through client engagement, proposal development, presentations, and thought leadership.
Build and maintain relationships with public-sector, educational, institutional, and private-sector clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible engineering experience
Demonstrated expertise in building systems, mechanical infrastructure, and facility performance
Strong knowledge of sustainability, decarbonization, resilience, and building science principles
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex technical assignments
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders, and teaming partners.
