About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design electrical control projects
- Conduct field surveys in collaboration with other disciplines
- Assist in the preparation of plans and specifications; estimate project quantities and costs
- Participate in electrical assessments and expert reviews
- Verify conformity of drawings and technical data sheets
- Monitor the quality of work
- Respond to site correspondence
- Track project schedules and deadlines
- Collaborate with the project manager to control allocated budgets
- Communicate with clients and other professionals (architects, etc.) to ensure proper project coordination
- Perform any other duties related to the position.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
- 0–3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an engineering consulting firm
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Knowledge of electrical control systems in medium- and high-voltage environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Fluent in French
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel
