About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design electrical control projects
  • Conduct field surveys in collaboration with other disciplines
  • Assist in the preparation of plans and specifications; estimate project quantities and costs
  • Participate in electrical assessments and expert reviews
  • Verify conformity of drawings and technical data sheets
  • Monitor the quality of work
  • Respond to site correspondence
  • Track project schedules and deadlines
  • Collaborate with the project manager to control allocated budgets
  • Communicate with clients and other professionals (architects, etc.) to ensure proper project coordination

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an engineering consulting firm
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems in medium- and high-voltage environments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Fluent in French
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel
