About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design electrical control projects
Conduct field surveys in collaboration with other disciplines
Assist in the preparation of plans and specifications; estimate project quantities and costs
Participate in electrical assessments and expert reviews
Verify conformity of drawings and technical data sheets
Monitor the quality of work
Respond to site correspondence
Track project schedules and deadlines
Collaborate with the project manager to control allocated budgets
Communicate with clients and other professionals (architects, etc.) to ensure proper project coordination
Perform any other duties related to the position.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
0–3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an engineering consulting firm
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Knowledge of electrical control systems in medium- and high-voltage environments
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Fluent in French
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel
