About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in project delivery; meet with clients and coordinate team activities with other disciplines.
- Manage budgets and resources allocated to each assignment.
- Ensure rigorous administrative management of projects and assume responsibility for them (billing, collections, contract management, etc.).
- Participate in design and the preparation of drawings and specifications.
- Supervise deliverables (reports, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, schedules).
- Contribute to the preparation of service proposals and work plans.
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with colleagues, clients, partner contractors, key suppliers, and subcontractor representatives.
- Perform any other duties related to the role.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Minimum of 7 years' professional experience in bridges and structural works.
- Knowledge of the requirements of the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD) and the Société des Ponts Jacques-Cartier et Champlain Incorporée (PJCCI).
- Strong analytical skills, leadership, and excellent communication abilities.
- Proven ability to build professional networks and manage work teams.
