About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in the design and development of building mechanical systems: heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and other related systems for institutional, commercial, municipal, and various other projects.
  • Take part in client meetings to propose solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Perform surveys of existing installations.
  • Conduct studies, design calculations, and technical modeling.
  • Prepare technical reports.
  • Carry out site visits and participate in certain stages of construction supervision.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to develop your skills and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Other tasks related to the position.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in mechanical engineering or building engineering.
  • Hold the Candidat à la profession d'ingénieur (CPI) designation or be in the process of obtaining professional engineer status (P.Eng.) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Relevant experience in building mechanical engineering (in consulting, internships, or employment) is a strong asset. Recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of standards, codes, and regulations governing building mechanical systems (asset).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit (asset).
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
  • Valid driver’s license.
