About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct environmental site assessments and environmental characterizations (Phases I, II and III)
- Be partially assigned to municipal projects
- Manage environmental monitoring mandates during rehabilitation works
- Carry out environmental monitoring and follow-ups
- Prepare technical reports and associated documentation
- Participate in the preparation of service proposals and work programs
- Contribute to the preparation of technical plans and specifications
- Plan and coordinate field/site work
- Provide technical support to the team’s professionals and technicians
- Perform any other duties related to the position
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in geology, civil engineering, geological engineering or equivalent training
- Member of the OGQ or the OIQ
- Membership in the AQVE is an asset
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of environmental standards and regulations (RPRT, RVMR, Intervention Guide – MELCC)
- Interest in fieldwork, as required
- Versatility and interest in varied projects
- ASP certification (health and safety on construction sites)
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site travel
- Team player with rigor and dynamism
