About the role
- Conduct environmental site assessments and environmental characterizations (Phases I, II & III)
- Be partially assigned to municipal projects
- Manage monitoring mandates during environmental remediation works
- Conduct environmental monitoring and follow-ups
- Prepare technical documentation and various reports
- Participate in the preparation of service proposals
- Prepare work programs
- Assist in the preparation of environmental technical plans and specifications
- Plan and coordinate the implementation and execution of field/site work
- Provide technical support to other team professionals and environmental technicians
- Any other duties related to the position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in geology, civil engineering, geological engineering, or other equivalent qualification
- Member of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ) or the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Membership in AQVE considered an asset
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and practice standards, including RPRT, RVMR and the Intervention Guide of the Quebec Ministry of the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change
- Willingness to perform fieldwork as required
- Versatile and willing to work on a variety of project types
- Possess the Construction Site Health and Safety card (ASP)
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
