About the role
- Conduct thorough reviews of detailed design drawings and contractor submittals
- Observe and report on testing
- Provide strong, proactive, and assertive leadership for on-time system completion
- Design SCADA portion of projects including modifications to RTU configurations and point list implementation in electrical/generator/SCADA systems.
- Provides troubleshooting and support to sites with any SCADA technical issues
- Maintains and updates the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to ensure uninterrupted operation
- Work on-site at the customer's construction project in Aurora, Colorado; transition to a permanent remote arrangement with 25% travel is contingent upon successful completion of this current project.
Requirements
- Five-ten years of experience with Industrial Control Systems involving electrical protection, coordination utilities, critical infrastructure and/or data communication centers
- Experience with both the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS)
- Experience with control system logic and programming with software packages from large single provider commercial vendors and cross platform integrators
- Experience working with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), and the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (HQ AFCEC)
- Construction quality control, quality assurance, and quality management procedures as applied to control systems.
- Strong technical writing ability
- Security clearance preferred, must be able to meet and maintain clearance requirements if not already eligible
- Professional Engineering license (EE)
- Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) Certification
- Experience with OT Cybersecurity and applicable qualifications
