About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary HR authority for the US, with deep expertise in US labor law and employee relations
- Act as a credible and trusted advisor to Senior Leaders, providing clear HR guidance and risk assessment
- Supervise US payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Travel regularly to US client sites and travel to HQ in France once per year
- Support Talent Acquisition strategy for the US, ensuring alignment with business growth, workforce planning, and group standards
- Drive talent development, performance management, and succession planning, supporting managers in building high‑performing and sustainable teams
- Deploy and localize group TA&TD initiatives in collaboration with Centers of Exellence teams in France, fostering internal mobility, leadership development, and continuous learning
- Animate the employee experience strategy across the US organization
- Improve engagement, retention, and workplace culture through targeted HR initiatives
- Act as a point of escalation for complex employee relations matters
- Manage a team of 3 HR professionals, including coaching, performance management, and development
- Foster a collaborative and team-oriented culture across the HR function
- Drive high standards of leadership, accountability, and employee support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong background in US HR management, with a focus on labor law and employee relations
- Demonstrate strong intercultural awareness and the ability to operate within a global, matrixed environment
- Experience in tech, manufacturing, logistics is a plus
- Proven leadership and people management experience (minimum 3 years managing teams)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions in complex situations
- Comfortable operating in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
