About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the "Professional Engineer" persona for the company in the US.
- Oversee the technical integrity of project deliverables and ensure they meet client expectations and safety standards.
- Define and enforce the engineering standards required for US infrastructure projects.
- Ensure all work aligns with DOT and ASCE regulations.
- Act as the primary link between the market and the R&D team.
- Translate client needs and geotechnical complexities into detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to guide future technology development.
- Partner with the sales and accounts teams during deep technical dives with major clients.
- Present the technical roadmap and demonstrate how our solutions solve specific geotechnical risks.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for US projects, ensuring that the implementation of our technology is consistent, scalable, and technically sound.
- Identify opportunities to expand our technical footprint within the US market and provide technical guidance for entry into secondary markets (IL, EU/UK).
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10–15 years of professional experience in Geotechnical Engineering, with a strong focus on US civil infrastructure (highways, bridges, foundations).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US is a must
- Deep knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, earth-retaining structures, and U.S. engineering codes/standards.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional teams (Product, R&D, Sales).
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A "startup growth" mindset—comfortable with evolving roles and a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to project sites and client offices across the US as needed.
