About the role

  • Innovate and solve subsurface imaging problems using Geophysics, Math, and Computational Science.
  • Develop subsurface imaging algorithms based on data acquired from multiple sensors.
  • Define and implement Signal Processing methods.
  • Validate performance of developed solutions based on empirical studies and clearly communicate and document conclusions.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide necessary support for technology transfer.
  • Support existing technology in production environment.
  • Stay up to date with industry technology and software trends to bring ideas to geophysical solutions.
  • Work closely with software developers to develop Exodigo proprietary technology.
  • Support engineering teams with backend solutions for their projects.
  • Perform research tasks requiring understanding of elasticity and electromagnetics domains, optimization methods, and Python programming.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Geophysics or Physics.
  • Two years of experience in a relevant industry, working with real data.
  • Results-oriented, high levels of curiosity, independence, and creativity.
  • Outstanding teamwork capabilities.
  • Proficiency in geophysical signal processing (seismic, ground penetrating radar, ERT, FDEM).
  • Knowledge of Geotech data acquisition processes (e.g., SPT, CPT).
  • Experience with Linux-based systems and Python programming language.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive of and develop creative/innovative technology.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, strong communication skills, and collaboration in complex projects.
  • Bonus points: Proficiency in deep learning algorithms and frameworks.
  • Bonus points: Working with modern source control.
  • Bonus points: Proficiency in numerical modeling of elastic and EM wave propagation.
  • Bonus points: Proficiency in optimization methods to solve inverse problems.
