About the role

  • Develop state-of-the-art applications for utility companies
  • Build new features for our platform in the backend as well as the frontend
  • Build highly-reliable and responsive software, ensure comprehensive testing and quality assurance
  • Collaborate closely with the whole design and engineering team to bridge the gap between the backend and analytical core of our product
  • Provide input to technology decisions and stay up to date with current technologies.

Requirements

  • Holds a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, or presents relevant professional experience
  • Is a seasoned fullstack developer with hands-on experience building cloud/SaaS applications
  • Has strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (preferably React), and understanding of core concepts like component boundaries, state management, and data visualization
  • Has experience managing AWS-hosted cloud infrastructure and is familiar with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
  • Has familiarity with XML/SOAP interfaces; ideally has worked with microservice architectures and typed APIs (GraphQL, tRPC, OpenAPI)
  • Is motivated to constantly learn new skills, makes quick decisions, prioritizes what moves the needle, thrives in a dynamic startup environment, and is excited to work in climate tech.
