About the role
- Establish and manage training and development strategies for coding audit programs
- Develop and implement strategic need analyses and training plans for the programs
- Coordinate and evaluate curriculum development and conduct preparation and delivery of training
- Identify and interpret strategic and operational training/development needs
- Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology
- Apply knowledge of adult learning theory and methodologies
- Deliver presentations to large groups and share knowledge effectively
- Employee development and performance management
- Work with physicians regarding medical coding practices
- Work in team environment and develop teams
- Manage QA and Training teams and oversee training of 50–100 coding employees
Requirements
- > 7 years of experience in coding Auditing, provider coding
- >2 years of experience in training role
- CPC/CCS/COC certification mandatory
- Excellent knowledge of multispecialty surgery coding including procedural coding, HCPCS coding
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience in Strategic management
- Experience performing new hire trainings
- Experience in project specific training
- Experience handling QA and Training teams
- Experience in training 50 – 100 coding employees
- Strong PC skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and internet-based programs
- Para - medical background (B.PT, Pharm, and B.SC. Nursing) graduation is an added advantage
- Auditing experience on multi-specialty
- Trainer experience
