About the role

  • Develop and validate data hypotheses across various domains, including marketing, finance, and data product analytics.
  • Conduct external research and maintain regular communication with client teams to align on project goals, expectations, and progress.
  • Oversee project task management, including communication, preparing presentation decks, coordinating team efforts, ensuring timely delivery of outputs, and gathering client feedback on problem structuring.
  • Effectively manage the feedback loop with offshore resources, ensuring timely and efficient collaboration.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, and dependencies, working closely with other project managers to ensure end-to-end project delivery.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis/engineering tools and software, such as SQL, Azure services like Azure Databricks, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Mulesoft, Python, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point to conduct detailed data analysis, data transformation, and guide team in performing related tasks.
  • Manage large-scale enterprise data migration projects, overseeing both on-site and cloud-based migrations to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Lead infrastructure and application upgrade initiatives, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard operational excellence and minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor and report on team capacity, effort, and utilization using project management tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Apply EXL analytics methodologies and licensed software to perform data extraction, variable reduction, model development, and validation to drive data-driven insights and business solutions.
  • Lead and collaborate with both offshore and onshore teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining alignment with client objectives.
  • Contribute to firm development by assisting in training, staffing, recruitment, and business development activities.
  • Deliver clear, insightful data analytics presentations to clients and senior executives, ensuring effective communication of key findings and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Information Systems, or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in Data engineering and analytics.
  • Five (5) years of experience utilizing tools such as SQL and Python for data analysis; programming languages; SQL for data retrieval; manipulation and developing and validating data hypotheses across domains such as marketing, investment, accounting, risk management; and data product analytics; software development life cycle methodologies; including Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe;
  • Three (3) years of experience utilizing tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Power Point for project management; utilizing Azure Data Factory for Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • One (1) year of experience utilizing tools such as Azure Data Bricks and Salesforce Mulesoft for data engineering and integration.
  • 40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm,
