About the role
- Lead Assistant Manager for E&M coding; oversee coding accuracy and productivity
- Expert CPT coding across IP, OP, Consult, ED Profee and Facility, Critical care
- Focus on continuous improvement and updating skills
- Participate in coding team meetings and educational conferences
- Ensure coding accuracy meets 96% and exceeds productivity norms
Requirements
- Masters in Biology/B.Pt/M.Pt, B,Pharm/M.Pharm/B.Sc Nursing/B.A.M.S/B.H.M.S
- Bachelor's Degree (StudyLevel)
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Payer side experience is added advantage
- CPT coding expert of E&M cases performed in all E&M settings (IP, OP, Consult, ED Profee and Facility Critical care e.t.c.) with accuracy 96%
- Exceeds the productivity standards as per productivity norms
- Excellent communication skills/able to speak with on shore team
- Working Hours: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, willing to extend based on requirement
- Telecommuter/Internet requirements: wifi with excellent bandwidth, uninterrupted power (power back up)
- Knowledge of coding E/M, ED
- Good analytical skills
- Sound anatomical knowledge
- Should be certified from AAPC/AHIMA; Certification must be active
