About the role
- Support the development and optimization of IT infrastructure.
- Perform more advanced tasks related to network and system performance monitoring and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance.
- Enhance skills in IT infrastructure tools and technologies.
- Begin to mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field **OR**
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) environment.
- Knowledge of service design principles and understanding of business impact relating to network incidents.
- Experience working with monitoring, ITSM, backup, and disaster recovery tools (e.g., HP Aruba, SolarWinds, ServiceNow).
- Fundamental understanding of networking technologies, including Switching, Routing, Wireless, and Voice networks.
