About the role
- Design and implement responsive, user-friendly web interfaces while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
- Work with modern frameworks, such as React.js, to integrate APIs, manage state, and enhance UI interactivity.
- Debug, test, and optimize applications for speed and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
- Utilize expertise in UI/UX principles and mobile-first development to deliver seamless web experiences.
- Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements
- Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a directly related field plus Four (4) years of Related professional experience.
- Must have at least four (4) years of experience with the following: Design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD;
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs;
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for web layout and styling;
- Conducting user research and interpreting feedback to inform design decisions;
- Developing information architecture, user flows, and navigation structures;
- Designing for responsive web and mobile platforms;
- Collaborating with product owners and design teams;
- Understanding of human-centered design and design thinking approaches.
- Employer will also accept a Master’s degree plus Two (2) years of Related professional experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus Four (4) years of Related professional experience.
