About the role

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Life Sciences clients.
  • Act as the primary contact for strategic discussions, understanding client needs and identifying opportunities for value creation through consultative engagement.
  • Lead development of tailored technical proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Design innovative solutions in areas like data modernization and digital transformation, ensuring proposals are practical, competitive, and aligned with best practices.
  • Monitor account performance and drive growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Achieve revenue targets by expanding service offerings and leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, cloud, and data platforms.
  • Coordinate across advisory, technology, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Promote collaboration, resolve interdependencies, and foster knowledge sharing for efficiency and innovation.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through client presentations, webinars, and whitepapers.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture and building capabilities in client management and solution design.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 plus years in life sciences consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership or client-facing role.
  • Proven track record in managing multimillion-dollar accounts, driving revenue growth, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong expertise in technical design discussions and the ability to provide strategic consulting to enable large-scale engagements is essential for this role.
  • Extensive experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, and biotech organizations, including precision medicine, RWE, and clinical development.
  • Strong technical foundation with exposure to data architecture, data integration and ingestion, master data management, cloud platforms, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern technology ecosystems such as hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP), Databricks, Snowflake, emerging AI/ML tools, and industry platforms (e.g. Veeva, Medidata, IQVIA).
  • Understanding of life sciences data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, CDISC).
  • Skilled in proposal development, technical workflow design, and driving large-scale implementations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously, balancing priorities in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions and related tools, enabling informed client discussions.
  • Adept at adapting methodologies to client needs to deliver value and maintain profitability.
  • Experience in mentoring teams and conducting internal training programs.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and maintain strong client relationships.
