About the role

  • Design and develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces
  • Build scalable front-end solutions using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, architects and business stakeholders
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and service layers
  • Implement secure authentication mechanisms including JWT and OAuth standards
  • Develop reusable components and contribute to design systems and documentation
  • Optimise applications for performance, scalability and cross-browser compatibility
  • Conduct debugging, testing and defect resolution
  • Maintain version control using Git and modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Recommend improvements to tools, processes and front-end standards

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern ECMAScript standards
  • Extensive experience with React.js, Next.js and Node.js
  • Experience with Redux, Flux or similar state management libraries
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend integration patterns
  • Knowledge of JWT and modern authorisation frameworks
  • Familiarity with Webpack, Babel, NPM and modern build tools
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JSX and TypeScript
  • Experience with browser debugging and performance optimisation tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
