Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to detect potential threats or breaches.
Analyze and respond to cybersecurity incidents in a timely and effective manner.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
Assist in developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures.
Investigate and document security incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
Support security awareness training and best practices across the organization.
Collaborate with IT and risk teams to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
6–9 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or information security.
Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM tools, and network protocols.
Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP (preferred).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple security incidents simultaneously.
