Provide hands-on technical support for customers, ensuring delivery of AI/LLM models, APIs, and data pipelines that align with mission needs
Collaborate directly with customer stakeholders to understand enforcement and operational requirements and translate them into technical implementations
Build, deploy, and maintain production-ready systems that support tariff classification, transshipment detection, and revenue collection analysis
Partner with Data Scientists to operationalize models, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with customer systems
Mentor junior engineers, enforce best practices in coding and data engineering, and contribute to a culture of delivery excellence
Represent Exiger in customer-facing technical discussions, focusing exclusively on mission delivery
Design, deploy, and maintain production-ready systems that operationalize models built by Data Scientists, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with government systems
Requirements
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, and React
Hands-on experience with LLMs (development, fine-tuning, deployment, and applied mission use cases)
Proven ability to design and deploy data pipelines and APIs in support of operational environments
Background in trade compliance, customs enforcement, tariff classification, or customs operations (strongly preferred)
Experience working directly with U.S. government stakeholders, especially in customs, trade, or enforcement contexts
Strong communication skills to translate technical solutions into mission-ready deliverables
Demonstrated ability to work in customer-facing delivery environments, aligning technical work with operational needs
Familiarity with tariff classification, customs valuation, origin determination, and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS)
Understanding of transshipment detection and substantial transformation rules to identify compliance risks
