About the role
- Provide strategic legal support across Exiger’s business lines, focusing on commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and government agreements including SaaS, licensing, services, NDAs, and partnership agreements
- Advise internal teams on legal and regulatory risks associated with business initiatives
- Support senior attorneys with a variety of legal matters, including refinement of internal policies, training, and processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Engineering, HR, Compliance, and other teams to meet key objectives
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to Exiger’s operations and advise senior attorneys on potential impact to the business
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and business stakeholders
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 4+ years of legal experience, with proven law firm experience focused on commercial contracts
- Expertise in technology agreements
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent judgment and the proven ability to balance legal risk with business priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Preferred: Experience in a high-growth technology, SaaS, or professional services environment
- Preferred: Litigation experience
- Preferred: IP expertise
- Preferred: Government contracts experience
- Preferred: M&A experience
