About the role
- The Digital Merchandising Manager curates and optimizes the on‑site product experience for our DTC brands (Albany Park, Edloe Finch, X‑Chair, Mavix, Timbuk2).
- Own end‑to‑end digital merchandising calendar: plan, brief, and launch NPIs, seasonal campaigns, and assortment updates in lockstep with brand and editorial calendars.
- Build and maintain site taxonomy, navigation, search rules, collection pages, and PDP content to maximize discoverability and storytelling.
- Use Shopify and related apps to configure pricing, promos, bundling, cross‑sell/upsell modules, and shipping messaging that raise CVR and AOV.
- Analyze on‑site metrics (engagement, funnel drop‑off, attach rate) and partner with the eComm Manager to prioritize A/B tests and feature tickets.
- Collaborate with the Director of Digital Experience on wireframes, Figma mocks, and UX enhancements that improve clarity and reduce friction.
- Coordinate with Ops and CX to surface real‑time inventory, lead‑time, and delivery information on PDPs, collection pages, and site banners.
- Align with Marketing on campaign assets, copy, and landing pages; ensure launches go live error‑free and reflect brand guidelines.
- Conduct SEO audits on PLP and PDP content for keyword and answer box updates.
- Document processes and maintain merchandising playbooks for SKU updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or minimum of six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years hands‑on digital merchandising experience for DTC or eCommerce brands.
- Proven track record improving CVR and AOV through tactics and data‑driven insights.
- Advanced knowledge of Shopify admin and common merchandising / promotion apps.
- Excellent cross‑functional communicator able to manage against shared deadlines.
- Must be able to work onsite 3 days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu) at our Cypress, CA headquarters along with core members of the team.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Figma, wireframing tools, or basic HTML/CSS for quick content tweaks.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices for PDPs and category pages.
- Experience coordinating global or multi‑brand product catalogs.
- Comfortable with web analytics (GA4, Shopify reports) and basic A/B‑testing principles.
- Exposure to AI‑driven product‑recommendation engines or personalization platforms.
