About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide peaceful, dedicated personal care and companion support to one client at a time in the comfort of their own home
Engage clients in meaningful conversation, puzzles, walks, and activities to keep them socially active and mentally sharp
Provide respectful, dignified help with daily routines including bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, and safe mobility/transfers
Assist with meal planning and cooking according to dietary preferences; encourage proper nutrition and hydration
Help maintain a calm, clean, and safe living environment by handling light laundry, washing dishes, and keeping tidy
Provide timely reminders for clients to take their prescribed medications
Accompany or drive clients to local medical appointments, grocery shopping, or essential social outings
Observe and report any visible changes in the client’s physical or emotional health to our supportive care management team

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of experience as a caregiver, personal care aide (PCA), or home health aide (HHA) preferred (personal experience caring for a loved one counts!)
Valid Driver’s License, active auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle for traveling to client homes (Required)
Current certification in CPR and First Aid (Preferred)
A deeply compassionate, patient attitude and a desire for a healthier work environment
Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic
