About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide peaceful, dedicated personal care and companion support to one client at a time in the comfort of their own home
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversation, puzzles, walks, and activities to keep them socially active and mentally sharp
  • Provide respectful, dignified help with daily routines including bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, and safe mobility/transfers
  • Assist with meal planning and cooking according to dietary preferences; encourage proper nutrition and hydration
  • Help maintain a calm, clean, and safe living environment by handling light laundry, washing dishes, and keeping tidy
  • Provide timely reminders for clients to take their prescribed medications
  • Accompany or drive clients to local medical appointments, grocery shopping, or essential social outings
  • Observe and report any visible changes in the client’s physical or emotional health to our supportive care management team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years of experience as a caregiver, personal care aide (PCA), or home health aide (HHA) preferred (personal experience caring for a loved one counts!)
  • Valid Driver’s License, active auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle for traveling to client homes (Required)
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid (Preferred)
  • A deeply compassionate, patient attitude and a desire for a healthier work environment
  • Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic
