About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a client portfolio composed of microbusinesses and SMEs, tradespeople, shopkeepers and self-employed professionals
  • Process digitized accounting documents
  • Verify automatic accounting pre-allocations
  • Bookkeeping and account reconciliation
  • Preparation of tax and VAT returns

  • Preparation of balance sheets and tax packages (liasse fiscale)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum education: Bac +2 (e.g., BTS/DUT) or DCG
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role in a chartered/accounting firm is required
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting
  • Good command of office software and accounting systems
  • Ability to apply current methodologies while complying with professional standards and procedures
  • Methodical and organized
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and able to make recommendations for improvement
  • Interest in digital technology
  • Knowledge of PENNYLANE software would be a plus
