About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect and process supporting documents from clients for accounting purposes
  • Identify outstanding issues and follow up until resolution
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Participate in the regular supervision of clients' accounting records
  • Contribute to the preparation of tax returns, notably VAT
  • Take part in closing work for annual accounts and interim financial positions
  • Assist engagement managers with necessary tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing an accounting qualification (e.g., BTS CG – 2nd year, BUT GEA with GCFF option – 3rd year, or DCG)
  • At least some successful internship experience as an accounting assistant in a French accounting firm
  • Comfortable with IT tools (accounting/reporting software, Microsoft Office)
  • Curiosity, thoroughness, analytical ability, critical thinking, and a strong team spirit
  • Strong accounting and tax skills
  • Sense of responsibility and organization, adherence to deadlines, and delivery of high-quality work products
  • Integrity and reliability
  • Ideally able to communicate in English with certain clients
