About the role
- Provide guidance and legal advice on corporate matters and company lifecycle transactions
- Restructuring: mergers, demergers, full or partial transfers of assets
- Commercial and professional leases
- Transfer of clientele (practice transfers)
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments
- Provide technical support to audit and accounting teams
- Ensure approval of financial statements
- Participate in providing advisory services to business leaders
Requirements
- Advanced law degree (Master’s level or equivalent)
- Specialization in business/corporate law
- Significant experience in a law firm or an accounting firm
- Knowledge of taxation is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Curiosity, rigor, conscientiousness and enthusiasm
- Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
