About the role

  • Reporting to the Audit department, act as an IT Auditor supporting statutory auditors.
  • Secure the technological environment that produces financial information.
  • Assess the reliability of information systems (IS) through analysis of IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC).
  • ITGC audit: Evaluate logical security (access), change management, IT operations, and physical security of infrastructures.
  • Application Controls audit: Verify interface integrity, automated calculation controls, system-generated reports, and configuration of business rules in ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Sage, etc.).
  • Data analysis: Extract and reprocess complex data from financial databases.
  • Visualization: Create dashboards to present audit findings visually and interactively to clients.
  • Support to Financial Audit: Map financial data flows, analyze risks, and identify key controls.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (equivalent to Bac +5) from a business school, engineering school, or a specialized Master's (Information Systems, Audit, or Management Control)
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in a similar role in an audit firm or in IT internal control
  • ERP proficiency: deep knowledge of at least one major ERP (SAP is a plus)
  • Proficient in SQL and data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or ACL/IDEA
  • Basic knowledge of Python or VBA is an asset for automating tests
  • Strong financial literacy: understanding of accounting cycles (Sales, Purchases, Inventory, Payroll)
  • Familiarity with internal control frameworks (COBIT, ITIL) and security standards (ISO 27001)
  • CISA certification or a Data Science certification is a definite advantage
  • Analytical mindset: ability to turn raw data into business insights
  • Teaching skills: able to explain complex technical risks to financial or non-technical stakeholders
  • Rigor: adherence to audit standards and precise documentation of work
