About the role
- Processing of digitized accounting documents
- Review of automatic accounting pre-allocations
- Accelerating the implementation of automated processing rules
- Validation of all accounts prior to VAT filing
- Matching/reconciling of ledger entries
- Clearing of suspense accounts
- VAT returns
- Notifying the Engagement Manager of abnormal delays in client or supplier payments or of significant events affecting the client
- Preparation of the balance sheet
Requirements
- Minimum two-year post-secondary qualification (BTS/DUT or equivalent)
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Preferably experience in an accounting firm
- Methodical and well organized
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong interest in digital tools and processes
