About the role

  • Play a key role in advancing Excelsior University's workforce development strategy
  • Expand partnerships with state workforce agencies and local workforce development boards
  • Support the identification, development, and execution of workforce aligned opportunities
  • Ensure workforce initiatives are compliant, scalable, and responsive to employer needs
  • Assist in developing and executing the end-to-end process for securing and maintaining WIOA eligibility
  • Represent Excelsior University in meetings, at conferences, and in advisory groups

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college/university
  • At least three to five years in a related workforce development role.
  • Ability to establish and build relationships with key decision makers
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Workforce funding models and programs, including WIOA
  • Strong project management experience
  • Ability to excel working fully remote or hybrid in a professional, private, and quiet workspace managing multiple priorities
