About the role
- Design, implement, and enhance Salesforce Service Cloud Voice solutions for contact center operations.
- Configure and customize Omni-Channel Voice, call routing, call flows, and agent experiences.
- Integrate telephony systems (e.g., Amazon Connect or other CTI providers) with Salesforce.
- Customize Call Center settings, softphone layouts, and voice-related user experiences.
- Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, and Visualforce pages as needed.
- Build scalable Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous processes (Batch, Queueable, Future).
- Implement robust automation using Flows (record-triggered, screen, and scheduled flows).
- Ensure high-quality code coverage with well-structured test classes following Salesforce best practices.
- Design and implement real-time and event-driven integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and platform events.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems such as CTI platforms, CRM tools, and case management systems.
- Work closely with architects to define data models and integration patterns for voice-enabled workflows.
- Customize Case Management, Entitlements, Milestones, Macros, Quick Text, and Knowledge.
- Optimize agent productivity using Einstein for Service, call transcription, and call insights (where applicable).
- Design role-based security using profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Participate in release management and CI/CD pipelines using SFDX, Git, and DevOps tools.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Support UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live issue resolution.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Service Cloud Voice
- Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Aura, Flows, and SOQL
- Experience integrating Salesforce with Amazon Connect or other CTI platforms
- Solid understanding of Omni-Channel routing and contact center workflows
- Experience with Salesforce security model, data model, and automation best practices
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (SFDX, Git, Copado/Gearset/GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, and performance monitoring
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical discussions
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant (Preferred)
- Experience with Einstein for Service, voice transcription, or AI-driven contact center features (Preferred)
- Prior experience in enterprise contact center or customer support environments (Preferred)
