About the role
- Own end-to-end release planning and execution for Salesforce Service Cloud Voice implementations.
- Coordinate deployments across Developer, QA, UAT, Full Sandbox, and Production environments.
- Manage release calendars, deployment windows, and blackout periods aligned with contact center operations.
- Ensure version control, packaging, and deployment readiness.
- Manage releases involving Service Cloud Voice, Omni-Channel Voice, call routing, and CTI integrations.
- Coordinate closely with Amazon Connect or other telephony platforms during releases.
- Ensure voice features, call flows, and integrations are fully validated before production deployment.
- Plan and support go-live and hypercare activities for voice-enabled releases.
- Enforce release governance, change management, and approval processes.
- Validate deployment checklists, test coverage, and rollback plans.
- Coordinate smoke testing, regression testing, and post-deployment verification.
- Track and resolve release-related issues and risks.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using SFDX and tools such as Copado, Gearset, or GitHub Actions.
- Manage source control and branching strategies (Git).
- Automate deployments, validations, and quality checks wherever possible.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and platform limits.
- Act as a central point of coordination between developers, admins, QA, architects, business stakeholders, and telephony teams.
- Provide clear release communications, deployment status updates, and post-release reports.
- Support UAT cycles and sign-off processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Salesforce release or DevOps management
- Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud Voice and contact center workflows
- Experience coordinating CTI / telephony integrations, preferably Amazon Connect
- Solid understanding of Salesforce metadata, packaging, and deployment strategies
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Flosum, GitHub Actions)
- Strong knowledge of SFDX and Git
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum or SAFe environments
- Familiarity with ITIL change management processes
- Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple releases and priorities
- Strong attention to detail and risk management mindset
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant) preferred
- DevOps or Release Management certifications preferred
- Industry experience in Insurance, BFS, Healthcare, or Telecom preferred.
