Principal

• Build, run and develop EXANTE’s principal trading book across asset classes.
• Provide liquidity against client flow, manage the resulting inventory and hedge residual exposure to generate P&L within the firm’s regulatory, best-execution and conflict-of-interest framework, with full P&L responsibility for the principal trading book.
• Principal trading book — provide liquidity against client flow, internalise and aggregate exposures where commercially attractive, manage inventory and hedge residual market risk.
• Trading strategies — market making, flow trading, relative-value and other legitimate strategies the candidate identifies, within Board-approved risk limits.
• Counterparty and execution venues — identify, negotiate and onboard the exchanges, prime brokers and OTC counterparties needed for hedging and inventory management.
• Risk management framework — in partnership with the Risk function, design, implement and operate the risk limits, monitoring and escalation framework for the book.
• Stock Lending cooperation — coordinate securities inventory, financing and revenue with the existing Stock Lending team, avoiding disruption to that revenue line.
• Desk cooperation — work with the Options Trading and Fixed Income & Structured Products desks to ensure complementary principal books and shared risk visibility.
• Operations and platform — cooperate with Operations, Treasury and Technology on workflow, financing, settlement and platform tooling.
• Conflict and best execution — manage conflicts of interest, best-execution arrangements and product-governance compliance across the relevant booking entities (MiFID II, FCA, SFC and equivalent regimes).
• Team build-out — size, composition and sequencing at the hire’s discretion as the book grows, consistent with the approved business plan.

Principal Trader

• Identify, negotiate and onboard exchanges, prime brokers and OTC counterparties needed for hedging and inventory management.
• Design, implement and operate the risk limits, monitoring and escalation framework for the book.
• Coordinate securities inventory, financing and revenue with the existing Stock Lending team.
• Work with the Options Trading and Fixed Income & Structured Products desks to ensure complementary principal books and shared risk visibility.
• Cooperate with Operations, Treasury and Technology on workflow, financing, settlement and platform tooling.
• Manage conflicts of interest, best-execution arrangements and product-governance compliance across relevant booking entities.

Product Manager

• Own the Options product area end-to-end, including discovery, roadmap, prioritization, delivery, and business outcomes. Act as the primary product owner for options trading while contributing to other strategic product initiatives across the platform
• Drive continuous product discovery by working closely with customers, stakeholders, engineering, and design to identify opportunities, validate assumptions, and solve high-impact customer and business problems
• Define and monitor key product metrics across adoption, engagement, retention, trading activity, customer satisfaction, and revenue. Use data, experimentation, and customer insights to drive product decisions and measurable outcomes
• Lead delivery of product initiatives from concept to release, ensuring clear requirements, alignment across teams, and successful execution. Partner closely with engineering to balance customer value, technical excellence, and platform stability
• Contribute to the evolution of product management practices, product operating model, and AI adoption across the organization

Product Owner

Architect

• Design, maintain, and continuously improve high-availability, low-latency trading backend infrastructure with a focus on uptime, throughput, and operational resilience
• Partner with product owners to gather and interpret business requirements, translate them into clear technical specifications, and lead initiatives from design through production release
• Collaborate closely with the management team to align architectural direction with long-term product strategy and organisational goals
• Drive the decomposition of monolithic systems into maintainable, independently deployable microservices, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption
• Define and champion engineering standards, architecture review processes, and best practices across teams

System Architect

Infrastructure Engineer

• Operate and maintain on-premises infrastructure based on bare-metal Debian Linux servers
• Manage OS-level configuration, networking, and system services
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Chef
• Manage infrastructure state via Git repositories following GitOps principles
• Standardize and continuously improve infrastructure deployment workflows
• Manage and operate hybrid connectivity across GCP, AWS, Megaport, and on-prem data centers
• Design and maintain VPC networking, routing, and firewall rules
• Operate hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, Cloud Interconnect, VPN)
• Configure and support BGP routing between cloud and on-prem environments
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and fault tolerance of network connectivity
