About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the end-to-end implementation process for new and transitioning clients from contract execution through go-live and transition to ongoing support.
Develop, maintain and manage comprehensive implementation project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate implementation activities across multiple internal departments to ensure readiness for client onboarding.
Monitor project progress, identify implementation risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
Manage multiple concurrent implementations while maintaining high levels of accuracy, organization and client satisfaction.
Facilitate implementation status meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process.
Guide clients through onboarding requirements and provide consultation regarding implementation activities, timelines and expectations.
Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by providing proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
Coordinate implementation activities related to plan configuration, pharmacy and prescriber network setup, eligibility processes, reporting requirements, data validation and operational readiness.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), managed care or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing implementations, projects, client onboarding initiatives or complex operational processes
Preferred: PBM, Medicare Part D, PACE, managed care or health plan experience
Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), a plus
Preferred: Experience implementing healthcare technology, benefit administration, claims processing or related healthcare services
Preferred: Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM or equivalent), a plus
Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of healthcare operations, claims processing, pharmacy benefit management or managed care environments.
Understanding of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, PACE or other government healthcare programs.
High level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project tracking tools.
