About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation process for new and transitioning clients from contract execution through go-live and transition to ongoing support.
  • Develop, maintain and manage comprehensive implementation project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate implementation activities across multiple internal departments to ensure readiness for client onboarding.
  • Monitor project progress, identify implementation risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage multiple concurrent implementations while maintaining high levels of accuracy, organization and client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate implementation status meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process.
  • Guide clients through onboarding requirements and provide consultation regarding implementation activities, timelines and expectations.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by providing proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Coordinate implementation activities related to plan configuration, pharmacy and prescriber network setup, eligibility processes, reporting requirements, data validation and operational readiness.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), managed care or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing implementations, projects, client onboarding initiatives or complex operational processes
  • Preferred: PBM, Medicare Part D, PACE, managed care or health plan experience
  • Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), a plus
  • Preferred: Experience implementing healthcare technology, benefit administration, claims processing or related healthcare services
  • Preferred: Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM or equivalent), a plus
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, claims processing, pharmacy benefit management or managed care environments.
  • Understanding of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, PACE or other government healthcare programs.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project tracking tools.
