About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a team of up to 6 accounts payable professionals
- Oversee the end-to-end process in Softco, including invoice processing, payment approvals, vendor management, and month-end close activities
- Establish and monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the end-to-end process in Softco
- Generate regular reports and analyses to provide insights into accounts payable performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Very strong experience in accounts payable, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Extensive knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational excellence in accounts payable functions
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
